Tips for trips

  • Penzion is located on the Spindleruv Mlyn-Spindlerova Bouda path.
  • There is a regular public transport on this route. Bus departs hourly. During summer season there are also special Krkonosh buses for cyclists.
  • You can reach the town(Spindleruv Mlyn) in 5-10 minutes if going by car or 20 minutes if walking.

Activities in the centre of Spindleruv Mlyn

  • Bobsleigh track, water park, ropes course, quad bikes, adventure park, scooters, climbing, horse riding, etc ...

Winter activities:

  • The ski areas Medvedin and St. Peter can be reached by car or regular bus. Spindleruv Mlyn Ski Resort boasts the most modern equipment and high levels of all services including a wide variety of ski schools with lots of programs for beginners and children.
  • Pension is a suitable starting point for boat trips or touring (for example, you can get on the Krkonose path, which runs from the town of Harachov through Elbe River, Misecky, Spindleruv Mlyn and Pec pod Snezkou to the town of Zacler.
  • The guest house is located roughly in the middle of a legendary sleigh track, which is 4 km long, and where you can experience a lot of fun. There is possibility of using your own sleigh.
  • Next to the Penzion there is small slope which is suitable for skying. This would suit mainly children and beginners. The ski slope is equipped with colored passages and brackets , animals, etc. for education and entertainment of the smallest skiers. It is possible to have an ski instructor although this would have to be arranged beforehand.

Summer tours:

  • Half-day walks suitable for pushchairs: The path around White Elbe(river) will enchant all lovers of romance and mothers with prams (halfway there is a large children's playground called U Svozu), a strol to Spindleruv Mlyn around the shores of the river Elbe, to the Hotel Spindlerovka, to Peter and Martin's chalets ...
  • For tourists we offer a selection of interesting places in central Krkonose Mountains: a legendary tour of Czech-Polish friendship to Snezka( weather station on top of a mountain - popular trip where you can get your postcards stamped with a unique Snezka mark - this would be a comfortable all-day trip).
  • Another popular trip would start at Medvedin and continue to Vrbatova Chalet, Labska Chalet, Martinovka Chalet to our penzion and futher towards the river Elbe spring to Lucni Chalet and back.
  • Although the protected landscape of the Krkonoše National Park and some places are inaccessible for cyclists there can be found hundreds of kilometers of trails in this area. It is possible to use the Krkonose Public trasport such as buses and cable cars to carry bicycles.
